It’s the time of year to think outside of the “circle” for little gifties. I love making these snowflake name ornaments. Once I figured out how, they are really quite addictive to make! Janay http://stitchedbyjanay.com/created a wonderful tutorial on creating the repeated name to look like a snowflake. Each name, like a snowflake is unique in its look. Peggy of PegboardCrafts.com also gave some great tips to get started. We all use Embird Embroidery software and the tuts reflect that.
I just wanted to post a pic to show my first efforts! I hope to sell these at the upcoming little craft fair in two weeks. It’s challenging to create items for a craft fair when, by its very nature, embroidery is pretty custom! I can’t just have everyone’s name or monogram already stitched up! So, I will show these ornaments as samples and inspiration.
