What was I thinking? I think I was thinking, in the mid-nineties, that it would be fun to try a sponge technique on my small laundry room wall. And paint over part of the hooks that were already there, and do a really messy job, overall.
I obviously stopped even seeing that wall. Until I started looking at the whole house as if I was a young, savvy house-buyer.
And, now that I look at this picture, I realize that just because the door out to the porch room is metal, I do NOT need to cover it in magnets! Sheesh.
And, yes, my griddle lives in my laundry room… Um. Do ya think I need to make room for it inside of the cabinet, rather than on top? Duh. Why can’t we see what is right in front of us?
I made a conscious decision not to the the hooks back up. No hooks, no clutter…
Now I promise to take all of the magnets off of every surface! Well, not from my craft room, but everywhere else!

Hee-hee, I can’t tell you how many times I take pics for my blog and realize there are dust bunnies or random clutter that I don’t see “in real life.” Ah, well, we gotta’ live i our houses, right?!

It is amazing what a difference just painting that wall made! With the magnets and grill gone you won’t be able to tell its the same room! This small things are sure to pay off.

You are so funny!! You make me laugh. 🙂 I agree with Sally…painting that small wall REALLY did make a difference. Funny thing is, in the first picture it took me a minute to even figure out what you were wanting to paint…but when the second one was shown, that room seemed much more serene. Looks GREAT!! I hope you are getting lots of traffic and the sale goes quickly.
